A finish that lasts
Most of the work in a good paint job happens before the paint goes on. I fill and sand dents and nail holes, caulk gaps along trim, and protect floors and furniture before I open a can. That prep is what keeps the finish smooth and stops it from cracking or peeling later.
Choosing colours and sheens
Not sure what will look right in your light? I can help you narrow it down and suggest the right sheen for each room. Flatter finishes hide wall flaws on ceilings and bedrooms, and tougher, wipeable finishes hold up in kitchens, bathrooms and hallways.
Living in your home while I work
I keep the work area tidy, clean up at the end of each day, and tell you ahead of time which rooms I'll be in, so you can keep living normally while the job gets done.
Where I work
I'm based in New Glasgow and offer interior painting across Pictou County, including New Glasgow, Stellarton, Westville, Trenton, Pictou.
Questions about interior painting
How long does it take to paint a room?
It depends on the size of the room, how much repair it needs and how many coats a colour change takes. I'll give you a timeline with your free estimate.
Can you paint in the winter?
Yes. Interior painting can be done year-round, and the colder months are often the easiest time to get on my schedule.
Do I need to move my furniture?
Tell me what's in the room when I come for the estimate, and I'll explain what needs moving and how I'll protect what stays.
